Although seeing all those creepy creatures felt quite satanic at one point, I admire the movie for its attention to detail and production design. Guillermo Del Toro reprises Hell Boy with so much flavor and passion. You may recall the characters in that movie had so much similarity with Pan's Labyrinth. But I don't mind. The characters are just nice anyway. There so much character revealed just in visual effects alone. The movie setting was also fantastic. Like when that Giant woke up from Ireland Highlands. Then that oracle. Then the troll place.
I don;t know it's just so kick ass! You should watch it for production values. The story? Not so much. The screenplay was quite corny. The exposition predictable and rather cheesy. Appreciate it nalang for the visuals. Just like the mummy 3.
